The trend toward increasing the design component in engineering curricula is part of an effort to better prepare graduates for practice. objective article review and contrast some methodological strategies teaching at university level analyze psychological theories practice temporal location these courses within 5 years program. results bibliographic made allowed us infer postures, preferably cognitive constructivist, first semesters curricula. However, are recommended throughout degree (taking as a reference Saber PRO tests) which students participate applied projects, get closer industry, more favorable adaptation future engineers particular demands national productive sector.
